Soul on Fire

Greetings
Welcome to this issue of my online magazine where I share my art and insights from my journey as a bhakti yoga practitioner.
You may have noticed that I changed the name from VIZ., to Soul on Fire.
Viz., was a cool word that only those in the know will recognize from the Brahma Samhita written Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur. Soul on Fire is on of my favorite expressions and sums up how I wish to be. So I have made this change to connect better with the reader and so the reader may better connect with me.
I have started my bachelor in youth development and that is going well.
Learning about the brain, which chemicals are released when, the psychology of risk and identity formation theories. I have an assignment due tomorrow which I will share in the next issue as it relates to the theme of this E-zine.
In this issue you will see a collage of pictures taken a while ago of my devotional graffiti art, a sketch I did last night a written piece on the power of language and a video of my favorite kirtaniya at present - Kamal Gopal. You will also see the meaning of the bhajan underneath.
I will likely make the next issue solely a comic issue. It will be a kind of debut in the sense that I will release all these comics in a new format which will set a new standard of comic making and illustration for me as an artist.
You will also notice that the written piece has a link to my new website for those who wish to read the whole thing. This website is a lot cleaner than my old Tumblr blog and has various pages which the tumblr didn't have.
I also made another website specifically to showcase my favorite kirtans and write about bhakti yoga.

Authenticity and the power of language.
Inside my commitment to being inspiring, I write and share my heart transparently. I know I am not alone on anything I'm dealing with and I know as long as I am sincere in moving forward I don't need to hide anything. I also believe I am only as dark as my darkest secret and that keeping secrets robs me of personal power (makes me wimpy) While I don't write in unnecessary detail or share information that will cause misunderstanding among those who dont know me, I choose to share freely and publicly from experience rather than theory because authentic self expression will always connect, affect and impact the reader more than talking about something above my current state of consciousness.

1) O venerable Vaisnava, devotee of Krsna! O ocean of mercy, be merciful unto your servant. Give me the shade of your lotus feet and purify me. I hold on to your lotus feet.
2) Teach me to control my six passions; rectify my six faults, bestow upon me the six qualities, and offer unto me the six kinds of holy association.*
3) I do not find the strength to carry on alone the sankirtana of the holy name of Hari. Please bless me by giving me just one drop of faith with which to obtain the great treasure of the holy name of Krsna.
4) Krsna is yours. You have the power to give Him to me. I am simply your servant running behind you shouting, "Krsna! Krsna!"
