Soul on Fire

Muchukunda Das

Greetings
Welcome to another issue of Soul on Fire where I share my art and insights from my journey as a bhakti yogi, youth champion and artist.
In this issue you will find a couple of my latest comics,
I've also included an article I wrote for uni which I hope adds value to the reader. I scored a B on it and my tutor said "For a first year uni paper that is a really good mark." :)
Today is a very special day on the bhakti calender as it is the appearance of Srimati Radharani - the mother of devotion. See the verse below proclaiming her special character.
I made a website specifically to showcase my favorite kirtans and write about bhakti yoga.
Visit site here
I have included in this issue a button which if clicked will take you to my new website (in progress but good enough for now) which has all my comics to date as well as my illustrations, paintings, black book sketches and street art to date. This issue is a soft launch for the site. In the next issue you will see some video logs about simple living and high thinking which I will make between now and then with my new gopro:) Let me know what kind of stuff you want to see.
Enjoy this issue and "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire"

He saved my life (Proper)
A letter to the man who saved my life.
Dear Srila Prabhupada
You saved my life! Not in the common sense of the term like when someone intervenes with another immanent death or the casual sense of the term like when some one solves some mundane problem for another, but the most accurate sense of the term conceivable only by spiritual knowledge.
I was born in the darkness of ignorance and you opened my eyes with the lamp of knowledge.
I wouldn't even know I needed saving had you not come unwelcome to the west to spread the teachings of bhakti yoga.

This paper will give insight into the why and how the title is true.
We will use the work of John Bowlby and Erik Erikson to pinpoint the ways in which parenting infants plays a massive role in a person's emotional development and impacts the way we relate as adults.
