Last Saturdays Graffiti Jam
Last Saturday Sam and I painted the production wall of my studio on Riverside drive.
Sam is new to graffiti so he played a support role. One of the things I asked him for help with was making a memorable quote out of this verse:
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The indestructible, transcendental living entity is called Brahman, and his eternal nature is called adhyātma, the self. Action pertaining to the development of the material bodies of the living entities is called karma, or fruitive activities.
I wanted to share the teaching that everything we do in this life is sowing the seed for our next life. Krishna tells Arjuna that when you act for some consequence you’ll get it and in order to enjoy or suffer the consequences of our actions we require a material body. So everything we do is like making an order to the cosmos for a particular type of body in our next life.
