When my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday I said “spray paint”, so she made a secret fund raiser and raised $400. It was definitely up there with the best gifts I've received.

So I went online and ordered all the colours I wanted and got 6 boxes of paint delivered to my door a couple of days later. Needless to say I was ecstatic.

Today I will start a large mural on my studio wall. It's a huge wall and I've already prepped it but I'm super nervous about what I'm going to paint. It'll be something I've never done before. I'll post the finished product our next email and a video on our YouTube channel Those Hare Krishna's.

Updates From Us

Isvaris belly is massive and we're expecting she'll birth our daughter in August around Krishna's divine appearance day.

We just moved into a new unit overlooking a beautiful garden and had our first gatherings out our place.

Tonight we will start our newest project which is a nightly reading of the book Chaitanya Charitamrita. We will stream this to our YouTube Channel from 8pm every night.

Muchukunda hosts a Japa meditation session on Zoom every morning from 6 to 8. It's A great opportunity to chant with others from your own home.

Every Monday evening from 5:30 to 7pm Muchukunda hosts a creative workshop at his new studio on the marina. The workshop is called Mantra Art. You get to learn some sanskrt calligraphy and philosophy. It's $25 and includes chai tea. Take home your own piece of sanskrt art for your home. Its at 48 Riverside drive Whangarei.

Last night we went to the launch of the movie We Came Here For Freedom which featured the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mantra. 200 good people came to the Skyliner Cafe and had a feast of samosas and curd sabji made by Buddhimanta just like at Profest.
