Our Adventure South
Here’s a video
Greetings from our recent adventure! We embarked on a heartwarming journey that took us on a 7-hour drive to worship the sacred cows and immerse ourselves in the serenity of chanting Hare Krishna.
The day began at 7 am with excitement in the air, although a touch of uncertainty lingered. Reflecting on the conversation we had the night before where my wife said she wasn't feeling well, I knew a decision had to be made. In a decisive moment, we opted for unity - it was either all of us or none of us.
At first Isvari wasn't talking to me because I was dragging her along when she didn't want to come but we had a heart felt conversation and I realised I hadn't been in communication with her about it enough to get full alignment so we pledged to speak every morning to communicate any plans or desires for the day or week ahead.
Once on the same wavelength, the journey became a harmonious blend of kirtan melodies and heartfelt conversations.
The first stop was Krsnendu's place, where we welcomed Nandan and Peter
We picked up the pace, making occasional stops for necessities, and reached Eltham around 7 pm. Straight into kirtan and a feast, our evening was filled with joy and connection.
The next day brought a unique opportunity—a meeting with the Eltham Council regarding a youth mural project at the skate park. This endeavor was a result of our previous visit, where the desire for a mural gig blossomed. The meeting went well, and our mission to bring art to the community took a positive step forward.
Following the council meeting, we visited Vishnuprema Palli, a sacred land, to partake in the annual festival celebrating the worship of cows. The sweet association with the gentle creatures was spiritually enriching, and we carried that energy back to the house for an evening of kirtan until dinner.
To capture the essence of our journey, we've recorded some moments to share with you. Click the links below to experience the joy, laughter, and spirituality that filled our days:

New T-Shirt Design
I love Kieth Haring’s work and I think it makes such good wearable art. It’s vibrant, understandable from a distance and uplifting. However it doesnt perfectly hit the spot for me. I changed a few little details of an iconic image to create this picture of Vasudeva carrying baby Krishna across the Yamuna river. Hope you like it. I printed a limited run of 10 and and have a couple left for $30 plus shipping.
