Ratha Yatra has always been my favourite thing about Krsna consciousness. It includes everything I love about the culture of bhakti in one event - Jagannath, Harinam, Prasad, Frankinsence, Devotees, Art and using my muscles><
Every Year since 1396 CE approx one million devotees attend the Ratha Yatra in India. Basically the whole whanau turns up to give God a tour of His city.

Jagannath Mantra
Jagannatha swami nayana patha gami bhava tume
Mantras have been used for millenia to invoke tghe power of the divine to achieve both material and spiritual benefits. In bhakti yoga mantras are only used to achieve the mercy of the supreme. Thats because anything less is undesirable by the devotee. The highest pleasure comes from connection with source and the following mantra connects us to the beauty of Gods smiling face and soothes the hearts longing to see other things.
Chant this mantra if you want to see the divine face to face:
